About Regina

Dr. Regina Touhey Serkin is a NY and MA licensed Acupuncturist, a Diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, holds a Masters of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, one of the premier acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine schools in the United States.  She has been immersed in the study of Chinese Medicine for over 20 years, always searching for a deeper understanding of ways to help others heal.  Regina started her private practice in Manhattan and relocated to Richmond, MA in 2002.  She is an active founder of Pittsfield Community Acupuncture and on staff at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. At Berkshire Medical Center she has provided treatments in Oncology, McGee detox, Clinical Stabilization and the Pain Clinic.  She has shared her medicine with FEMA responders after 9/11 in NYC, tornado victims in Springfield, Nomads of Mongolia and Tibetans in Nepal. She worked at Canyon Ranch Lenox, and has volunteered at Volunteers in Medicine, Great Barrington and Soldier On in Pittsfield, MA. 

Regina incorporates pulse, tongue and constitution with Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method due to the instant and effective results they offer. A knowledgeable and experienced herbalist, she uses her raw herbal pharmacy to compound customized formulas for patients.  Combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with more modern modalities and a compassionate healing spirit she connects with her patients and helps them on the healing path. She has studied and treats issues with all types of pain, GI issues, nutrition, immunological and circulatory conditions, chronic degenerative diseases, oncology support as well as women’s health, reproduction and fertility. She works well with pediatrics, teens and adults and uses her extensive experience in acupuncture, electro acupuncture, magnetic therapy, acutonics, herbal medicine, nutrition, essential oils, moxabustion, cupping, tuina and qi gong to help them attain balance.  Regina is a teacher at heart and loves to educate as she treats to empower people with knowledge and techniques that they can use at home to keep them in the best of health..
